If you would like to communicate something to the group at the Joint Session, Boy Scout Breakout, and/or Cub Scout Breakout, please contact Bob Jobst jobstsr@aol.com before the Roundtable, thanks. POPCORN TRAINING

Come to the 2008 Popcorn Training (at 7:00, prior to the Roundtable) to increase your Unit popcorn sales and get a higher commission! Unit Popcorn Coordinators will pick up 2008 unit popcorn sale materials, learn what's new this year, ask questions, and hear about great techniques used by other units!

NOTE: Unit Popcorn Coordinators MUST attend the 2008 training for your Unit to earn more than 30% commission. Attendees must sign in on the attendance form to get credit for the training.

BOY SCOUT ADVANCEMENT NEWS

The updated merit badge counselor list will be available at the roundtable, or by email from Bruce Wentworth (bruce@wenthome.com). On behalf of the youth of our district, thanks to all who reregistered!

Please note that the Central New Jersey Council Eagle Scout Advancement Guide has been updated. This August 1, 2008 version supersedes the October 12, 1999 version, and is linked from the bottom of our district advancement web page, http://mad-bsa.org/advancement/.

We are looking for experienced troop Eagle advisors able and willing to serve as Eagle advisors on the district advancement committee. If you can recommend anyone for this critical district function, please contact advancement chairman Gene McDermott at genemcdermott@aol.com.
