If you would like to communicate something to the group at the Joint Session, Boy Scout Breakout, and/or Cub Scout Breakout, please contact David Mitchko, david.mitchko@navy.mil before the Roundtable, thanks. You will need to supply flyers to hand out. If you are in attendance, you will be introduced so that interested people can talk to you later, but verbal presentations will be limited.

 

DISTRICT RECOGNITION DINNER

 

The District Recognition Dinner and Display of Old Scouting Memorabilia will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company Ball Room, 40 West Upper Ferry Road, Ewing, NJ.  Please join us in an evening of good food, fun and fellowship as we recognize the outstanding Scouters in our District.

 

DISTRICT AWARD OF MERIT

 

If you would like to recognize a Scouter who has performed exemplary service, above and beyond the call - on behalf of the youth in the Mercer Area District, please submit your nomination forms to the Awards Committee by Sunday, February 8th.  It is the highest award a district can bestow on an adult Scouter.  Our district will be presenting these awards at our Recognition Dinner.  For more information and the form see http://mercerarea-bsa.org/dinner/madam-2009.pdf.

 

BOY SCOUT ADVANCEMENT NEWS
